Parents are not required to accept the additional Learning Support Plan for their child. However, the school reserves the right to deny admission to the child, if they are not enrolled in the plan or require the parents to sign a waiver requesting an opt-out for this plan.
Payment options are monthly or yearly (which may be divided into two payments a year). Installments begin on July 1st and run for 9 months.
There is an additional once yearly $150 registration/materials fee. Your child's place on the enrollment will be secured upon receiving this payment.
Description
White Clay Learning Center understands that the public charter cyber schools have limitations in their generic, prepackaged curriculums which offer no progressive, creative, enriching and intellectually stimulating forms of media. As with our regular school curriculum, White Clay Learning Center’s comprehensive, individualized and progressive cyber curriculum includes a wide variety of interactive websites, book materials and teacher-created materials across all subject matter. These assignments are specifically designed to engage your child in all learning modalities across the curriculum. This program is designed for students in grades 4 – secondary and meets state requirements from our accredited Pennsylvania nonpublic school.
The Cyber/Correspondence program meets the needs of those intermittent residents who need this option for part of their school year. This program is available to students grades 4 – 8 and can be started at any time. Although the students will not receive time and instruction through our valuable collaborative and cooperative group setting, they will receive, weekly, personalized, custom-created, multi-media assignments which will fulfill their entire academic curriculum.
