School Structure and Tuition
Structure
Our classes are organized into three different groups, based upon age
and ability, with a
student/teacher ratio of no more than 8 to 1. Our Monday and
Friday individual lesson days are from 9 am to 2 pm. Our Tuesday through
Thursday classroom activity days are from 9 am to 3 pm.
White Clay Learning Center also offers its families a variety of
options regarding the level of participation the parents wish to have as
Monday and Friday home study facilitators. These options are outlined in
the tuition schedule below. Our yearly tuition is your monthly payment
times nine months, except cyber/correspondence, which is payable at the
start of each quarter (3 months). We offer any second or third
child of a family a 10% discount on monthly tuition.

White Clay Learning Center also encourages parent volunteers to assist us with our
teaching during the school day. A tuition discount is given to families
who wish to commit some of their time with us. Please
contact us.
There is also an annual materials fee of $125.00 per child in
K-3; $150 per child in grades 4-secondary (grade 4 participates in the
Intermediate science lab) and $125/child in cyber/correspondence. This fee is due
with your application. If space is available, this fee will also secure your child’s place on our
enrollment.
White Clay Learning Center offers extended day hours before and after
school Monday through Friday at $8.00 per hour.
Terms
Tuition may be
paid in full at the start of each year.
Tuition for the attendance programs can be paid on a monthly basis. If
paying by the monthly plan, the first and last month's tuition is due on
August 1st. Monthly payments are due on the first day of each month. There is a $5.00 per day late charge for tuition not paid by the 6th
of each month.
Tuition for the cyber/correspondence programs can be paid on a quarterly
basis. If paying by the quarterly plan, payments are due on the first
day of each quarter. There is a $5.00 per day late charge for tuition not paid by the 6th
day
of the quarter.
